Purpose of the group
The Engage for Success London Region 'Thought and Action' Group, part of the government supported national employee engagement movement (Engage for Success - E4S) led by David MacLeod and Nita Clarke, is focused on growing the audience in London. E4S promotes employee engagement in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
The purpose of the London group is to inspire individuals and organisations to take action in promoting effective employee engagement, supporting them with the practical tools and ideas that they need to independently take action, secure in the knowledge that engaging people in the workplace works.
The benefits of being part of this group are significant for individuals and organisations. Through updates, coordinated action, presentations, networking with those in your sector and beyond, and speaking with experts, you will learn how to tackle the challenges of, and promote effective employee engagement in your organisation.
The group is for strategic practitioners of predominantly large and medium sized organisations with a base in London who can influence employee engagement within their organisation. It also consists of experts and academics in the field. The group meets once every two months between 10am and 12.30pm.

In November we welcome David MacLeod, Co-founder of Engage for Success. David will describe how the movement is going from strength-to-strength and, in particular, his vision of how the new collaboration with CIPD will evolve. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Michael Maynard, Co-founder of Maynard Leigh Associates, will deliver an interactive presentation on 'Creativity and Innovation'. A trained professional actor with experience in theatre, radio and television, and having worked with many organisations, Michael will explore how this interesting subject can be applied positively to employee engagement in the workplace.
The usual fayre of updates and networking will cap off an excellent London Region session.
