David Klaasen and Alli Gibbons recently formed talent4performance to combine their 50 years of working with organisations to unleash stellar performance, using innovative and pragmatic approaches that drive results.
Alli’s first career was as an engineer and she has worked with hundreds of businesses in both public and private sectors to achieve internationally recognised standards of excellence. In her MBA at the Open University she specialised in Strategy and Creative Management. Her highly practical insights help her clients clarify their purpose, strategy and the culture required for success.
David is a Fellow of the CIPD who was inspired by a career in Learning and Developed after 10 years as Chef working in international 5 Star Hotels and Michelin starred Restaurants. He is passionate about developing people and helps his clients implement their strategy by fully engaging their people.
There are now hundreds of types of Staff Engagement Survey being used by various organisations, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. However we suggest taking a completely different approach. We believe that it is critical to help managers explore individual expectations and engagement factors with their people. This means they can have meaningful conversations about them and seek the best ways for their expectations to be met, or in some cases to be managed appropriately if they are unrealistic.
This lively and engaging presentation is aimed at HR Managers who are interested in discovering how to help line managers have more engaging discussions with their people and pinpoint the specific engagement factors of their people.
By attending this interactive presentation you will get your own Engagement and Retention Report that illustrates your 8 key engagement factors. The report is based on Enjoyment Theory which is designed to identify what you enjoy most at work. Over 25 years of research shows that when we enjoy at least 75% of our role we will be more engaged and interested in our work. This means we will put in more effort, be constantly seeking to improve and probably get more positive feedback which creates a virtuous circle. You will also get insights into your preferred communication style and the paradox of delegation.
Please note that once you have registered you will be sent a link to complete a questionnaire. If you don’t complete the questionnaire by the 17 May 2016 we will not be able to give you your Engagement report.
