With 52% of employers not managing to fill their graduate vacancies this year, the challenge to find, engage and hire the right students continues to grow. Ben has worked in recruitment for 17 years, with a broad mix of in-house (Motorola, Hays, Capita) and large-scale RPO experience (Alexander Mann Solutions). He was a board director of one of the UK’s leading student recruitment outsourcing businesses (Amberjack) for six years, before setting up his own consultancy business, TalentPunk, in 2014. He has helped more than 40 businesses set up, run and optimise their student recruitment programmes, and is currently Interim Head of Student Recruitment for Deloitte, where his team is responsible for hiring around 2,000 students and graduates every year for multiple programmes across the UK. Ben is a self-confessed data geek, a petrolhead and a dad of three.
