About this event

This workshop is delivered under the Birmingham Cultural intelligence Framework. It targets health and social care staff and individuals within the not for profit sector who want to improve their engagement with Caribbean communities.

The workshop is designed to enable participants to build their understanding of -

  • the rationale, objectives and benefits of engaging with Caribbean communities
  • the diverse nature of 'Caribbean communities'
  • internal, societal, and economic constraints to engagement
  • practical approaches to engaging Caribbean communities

At the end of the workshop, participants will recieve a pack of practical resources to assist in putting this learning in to practice.

Lunch will be provided.
