Gender Smart Talk

I would love to invite you to join Gender Smart Talk - my best practice sharing event. It would be great if you could join me, and other professionals working to create gender balance to share your experiences. People that come typically love the informal atmosphere, and in-depth discussion.

Topic: Engaging Men in Gender Diversity

You can't talk about gender balance without thinking about men. Why? In most organisations it's still predominantly men who take key decision. So if you want to change who is hired and who advances, you have got to have men on board. In addition men are half the workforce and when your programmes for women make them feel excluded and undervalued you may loose productivity and talent.

  • What is your driver for including men?
  • What have you done so far to include men?
  • What worked and what didn't work? Which arguments and type of initiatives typically speak to men?

Format

  • 30 min informal networking
  • 15 min introduction of round table participants
  • 45 min facilitated discussion

All Proceeds to Charity

I feel strongly about building a better world for women. That’s why I will donate your complete ticket price to HERA – a women’s charity. HERA (Her Equality Rights and Autonomy) is all about creating a new life for women that have been victim of human trafficking.
