Keeping our patients at the centre of what we do is essential, even more so when we are improving services. There are multiple ways we can work together and ensure that we engage patients and the public to get their views to shape the future of our serivces.
This session will help you to develop some of the skills and tools for productive and meaningful engagement.
By the end of the session you will be able to:
• Communicate why patient and community involvement is important
• Understand the different levels of involvement
• Have an increased awareness of the tools that can be used to obtain feedback
• Have the confidence to try out some of the tools and techniques
