We are aware that this event is on the final day of the proposed Junior Doctors strike. In the case of industrial action going ahead we will postpone the event and reschedule for March 2017. We will confirm this as soon as we are able to but are working on the basis that the event will hopefully go ahead.
Advancing Quality Alliance, supported by the Health Foundation, are pleased to announce the second event in a new programme seeking to understand flow between and within our care systems.
This event will provide delegates with an opportunity to explore this key enabler of improving flow across systems. At our first event the connections between improving whole system flow and organisational cultures were made very clearly. The sessions within this event will provide examples of achievements within local authority, health economy and hospital systems and the opportunity to discuss your local application.
Confirmed speakers include:
Dr Tom Downes, Consultant Physician and Geriatrician and Clinical Lead for Quality Improvement, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Alistair Gray, Clinical Services Lead Pharmacist, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust
Stuart Cowley, Director for Adult Social Care and Health, Wigan Council
Who is this event aimed at?
Registrations are invited from system leaders, senior decision makers, Directors of Finance and Informatics Leads from health and social care organisations, local authority and community partners.
The fine print:
This event is free to all AQuA member organisations and community and public sector decision makers and leaders. If you are unsure whether your organisation is a member, please click here.
Final event arrangements are confirmed with the venue up to two weeks before the event. In order to ensure that places are not wasted please let us know at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend. Many of our events operate waiting lists so this will enable us to reallocate your place to someone else on the list.
