Event description
ENGAGING WITH FUNDERS - Your chance to get face-to-face with top people from major funders including the National Lottery Community Fund

About this event

SWDDF in partnership with Bristol Zoo Gardens is delighted to provide this rare chance to engage directly with funders for this post-lockdown event.

Join us in Bristol Zoo's Pavilion conference centre, or remotely via Zoom, to get an up-to-the-minute understanding of how funders' giving patterns have changed as a result of the pandemic and what they are looking for now and in the future.

Please choose in person or remote access when selecting your ticket.

SWDDF is delighted to welcome 5 significant funders who all immediately said 'Yes' when invited to meet with senior fundraisers and charity leaders .

You can ask about their new priorities, how to make your charity's application stand out from the crowd and what they expect from the charities they fund.

Contributors include:

- Sarah Dummer-Wade, Funding Manager at the National Lottery Community Fund

- Catherine Ind, Head of Foundation at St James's Place Charitable Foundation

- Clare Rance, Manager (South West), Lloyd's Bank Foundation

- David Medlock, Chair of the Medlock Charitable Trust

At least half the time will be a Q&A session so come with your questions prepared!

Ticket includes light refreshments and the chance to enjoy all that Bristol Zoo Gardens has to offer. Give yourself time after the event to enjoy the grounds, the animals and the food outlets.

This is a rare opportunity to meet with funders so please spread the word and share this event on social media, giving as many trustees, charity leaders and senior fundraisers this opportunity as possible.

Last time SWDDF offered a similar event it sold out so book early!

SWDDF wishes to thank Bristol Zoo Gardens for working in partnership with SWDDF to make this event possible.

If attending in person, pleased be advised that we will follow the latest government guidelines for the safety of all. You will be advised nearer the time about the details.

If you prefer to attend via Zoom, please select this option when booking.
