Date and time

Tue, 21 Oct 2014 14:30 - 16:30 GMT+1

Location

Glasgow Caledonian University

Cowcaddens Rd G4 0BA United Kingdom

Description

As you may know, following the Scottish Independence Referendum, Lord Smith was asked to convene cross-party talks to agree recommendations for further powers to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament.

To help inform that work, Lord Smith is very keen to hear the opinions and ideas of individuals and stakeholders. Anyone can make a written submission to haveyoursay@smith-commission.scot. In addition, Lord Smith and/or members of his secretariat will be attending stakeholder meetings across Scotland to hear views directly and listen to the conversations happening between people and groups about the powers they think should be devolved - and why.

Engender is convening a meeting of women's organisations with members of the secretariat of the Smith Commission. This meeting is kindly being hosted by the Women in Scotland's Economy research centre (WiSE) at Glasgow Caledonian University. The meeting will be in the seminar room on level 3 of Buchanan House.

All are welcome, but space is strictly limited.
