The 4th in a series of Engine Shed briefings where anyone is welcome to book to hear about an interesting or useful (not always the same thing!) briefing on an important topic or opportunity.
Each briefing will be followed by the opportunity to meet the speaker and grab yourself a cake & a coffee in the Business Lounge.
This session, delivered by Corrigan Associates, will look at what Auto-enrolment means for startup and growing businesses.
Auto enrolment began in October 2012 for the UK's largest companies. It will have an impact on every business meaning employers will have to enrol their employees and contribute to a pension on their behalf. It is the business’ obligation to maintain records and to ensure they are compliant with the new rules. This session will visit the key issues that face businesses preparing for auto enrolment such as, how and when do you begin to prepare for auto enrolment and how you can deal with the additional administrative burden that the changes will bring.
