With many innovation programmes across the UK on offer to drive growth in the digital start-up/ SME sector, Rowena Goldman, Head of Clusters and Communities, will be explaining what the core remit of the Digital Catapult is in the innovation landscape and why it is different.
Our initial aim, via collaboration, with business, universities and other not-for-profits, is to unlock opportunities in the vast amounts of data we now have access to via 4 main challenge areas: Building diverse data and content sets; reuse of content, first reducing licensing friction: creating trust in the use of personal data: linking data innovators to next generation connectivity. Rowena will focus on her particular role in linking the UK SME cluster together, and a bit about some of the programmes on offer, and how SMEs/Startups can benefit.
Each briefing will be followed by the opportunity to meet the speaker and grab yourself a cake and a coffee in the Business Lounge.
