Hiring a hi-performance team: How we grew a start-up from 6 to 100+ employees in 3 years with Andy Mulvenna.
Chris and I started Brightpearl with no capital and a great idea. We spent a couple of years, and many long nights in the office trying to work out if we were mad, or whether this could be a big, global businesses. We were right - Brightpearl could be huge. The company went on to raise $26M from investors who share our vision, has teams in 6 countries, and has thousands of small retail customers in 30 countries who sell $1.5B of their products using software every year.
In this talk, we’ll look at how we built the team behind each stage of the company’s success, and why I quit corporate life, and lost my home because of an idea.
Followed by networking.
