Event description
Engine Shed is bringing its huge Brio and Tomy train sets to Kew for autistic children to build and play with.

About this Event

The Engine Shed is a special interest group for autistic children who like trains. They can play, talk and enjoy their interest in a welcoming, safe and relaxing environment – and their parents can talk in a supportive atmosphere.

Engine Shed brings its huge Brio and Tomy train sets to the London Museum of Water and Steam at Kew every month.

The museum will be open to the public, but we will be in a separate room in the museum for our trains.

As well our Engine Shed session, your event ticket will also give you access to the whole museum, including its giant pumping engines, hands-on galleries, and cafe.

GETTING THERE:

  • Trains: SouthWestern Railway trains to Kew Bridge station Buses: lots of services run to Kew Bridge https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/posters/KWB.pdfParking: the museum has a large free car park
