Whether you’re a school leaver or a budding apprentice, access all areas on Thursday 26 February, 3.30pm-6.00pm.

Join us and:

  • Enjoy a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, including motor vehicle, electrical and welding workshops.
  • Explore our i4.0 Hub and demo advanced technologies showcasing 3D printing and robotics.
  • Discover our full-time T Level Engineering course for 16-18-year-olds.
  • Chat to our expert tutors and ask any questions you might have.
  • Meet our dedicated support team and chat to them about advice and guidance.
  • Apply for your desired course or an apprenticeship vacancy on the day.

About The Engineering Centre

The Engineering and Manufacturing sector needs to employ 186,000 skilled workers each year to tackle skills shortages. Calderdale College is on a mission to play its part with specialist study programmes and apprenticeships at our bespoke Engineering Centre.

Our industry-standard training centre reflects the type of facilities you would find in electrical, engineering and motor vehicle workplaces.

About the i4.0 Hub

Housed at The Engineering Centre, the i4.0 Hub boasts high-tech facilities giving our students access to advanced manufacturing, augmented reality and robotics. This new space transforms the way our apprentices and students train, digitalising their learning and equipping them with the most up-to-date knowledge for the sector.
