Engineering Educates: Bringing Robotics Engineering into the Classroom
What: This CPD opportunity is designed to equip teachers with the knowledge, confidence, and classroom-ready tools to embed engineering into their teaching- aligned with the National Curriculum and grounded in real-world problem-solving.
Access research informed practice, develop curriculum confidence and learn about practical ready-to-use resources, develop STEM access and opportunity, and take time to reflect and plan for back-at-school activities. Learn about the Developing to be an Engineer progression framework and get hands-on to encounter- in depth- one of our activities, 'Secret Within'.
When & where: Tuesday 11th November at the National STEM Learning Centre, University of York Campus, Heslington. York
Who: 25 teachers - particularly relevant for DT Teachers/DT Leads across KS2/3 (ages 7-14 years)
Join us for specialist CPD coaching- linking to the engineering design cycle and the free Engineering Educates resources- and learn how these can be so beneficial in school in developing cross-curricular links and transferable skills.
