Engineering Professors' Council AGM
Mon 22 May 2017, 16:00 – 18:00 BST
This year's AGM will feature a discussion of major changes to the EPC that have been designed to build on recent successes and make the Council more representative of all engineering academics in UK unievrsities.
If you are interested in the national voice of engineering in HE, in how national policy affects us, in best practice or in the impact of academic engineering on the nation, this is an essential event.
In particular, this event is intended for:
- Heads of Engineering departments, faculties and unit in UK higher education institutions;
- Indiviuals in engineering departments that have been tasked with EPC liasion;
- Early career academics in engineering who want their voice to be heard.
If you are interested an academic in engineering in a UK university, the chances are that you're an individual member of the EPC and are entitled to attend.
The Annual General Meeting has been scheduled to allow you to attend the free 'New Approaches to Engineering' Conference that the EPC is running jointly with the IET which is taking place at the same venue on the same day. The events will be followed by a joint drinks reception.
It is not essential to book to attend, but we would be grateful if you did as it will allow us to cater for the reception and ensure the space is suitable. (If you have already registered to attend the New Approaches Conference and indicated that you will be attending the AGM as well, there is no need to register here as well.)
