Engineering your Future Workforce: Understanding Employer Needs

About this Event

The Engineering world is now standing at the threshold of rapid technological advances, coupled with merging geographies. It is imperative that businesses respond to these changes in an efficient and effective manner.

One of the key challenges facing the UK engineering sector today is accessing relevant educational provision for the skills required by the industry. Coupled with a turbulent education landscape, it is vital that education providers engage with businesses to ensure the provision meets the future needs of industry.

Truro and Penwith College aims to address this issue by working closely with you to co-design solutions to the skills gaps identified in the region.

During this fully funded* event, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences with other businesses in the sector, explore the issue of the skills gap and start to develop practical solutions that work for you, leading the way for the industry as a whole.

Together, we can identify key Higher Level training requirements and work together to create innovative solutions that can be delivered in a way to meet your business needs.

We can support you to develop the skills you require in new recruits, provide opportunities to up-skill your existing team or by working with our students on a project that will support your growth.

Our event will include Lunch and refreshments, keynote speakers, facilitated workshops, networking opportunities and your chance to shape the future of our Higher Level provision.
