The world-famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground is set to host the third and final test of England’s Test series with the West Indies from Friday, 26th to Tuesday, 30th July 2024. The Three Lions were victorious in all three tests to win the series 3-0. Almost 100 years later, England will be looking for yet another Test Series victory against the West Indies.

England won the most recent encounter between these two teams when the Three Lions were 55 – 56/4 victors against the West Indies in the World T20 at the Dubai International Stadium on 23rd October 2021.

In Test Cricket, the West Indies won the most recent series in 2022. However, England did secure the series victory the last time that the West Indies toured England in 2020 in what was a 2-1 victory in the end. After losing the first test by four wickets, England went on to win the second test by 113 before confirming the series victory in the third and final test, winning by 269 runs.

The West Indies edge England regarding the head-to-head record in test cricket with 59 wins compared to the Three Lions’ 51 in their 110 Test series meetings as of the time of writing.

The atmosphere at Edgbaston is set to be incredible as some of the best players in the world go head-to-head to victory in this latest test series.
