Getting our universal offer right - Scaffolding learning in writing

This session will focus on: How scaffolds need to change over time to increase levels of independence.

  • To review progress of your school's approach to, and implementation of, reading.
  • To revisit and deepen our understanding of universal scaffolds linked to sequencing units of work in writing - with a specific focus on phase 2& phase 3).
  • To collaborate and form strong relationships with colleagues across the Trust and within your hub, to network as a community.
  • To utilise new learning in action-planning next steps for implementation in your own setting.
