English Conversation Group & Reading Group

Join us every Wednesday afternoon at Roehampton Library, where you can build confidence and improve your spoken English. We also meet on Friday mornings for a reading group focused on accessible books. Together, we read aloud from "easy reads" texts and explore their meaning in a supportive setting.

These relaxed language support sessions provide a welcoming space to practise everyday English, expand your vocabulary and connect with others in the community. Each session is run by library staff and includes themed discussions and opportunities to share stories, ask questions and learn from one another. The sessions are suitable for learners at beginner to intermediate levels.
