Enhanced Endodontic Training for the GDP by The Dentistry Cloud®
Fri 12 May 2017, 09:30 – 16:30 BST
This one day hands-on course is ideal if you are a general practitioner relatively comfortable undertaking routine endodontic procedures, but would like to expand your treatment capabilities. Particularly those dentists who have already attended one of Charlie's introduction to rotary endodontics courses. On this course we will look at progressing your options to include treating curved or sclerosed canals and even tackling some simple re-treatment cases. We will also take the time to discuss any cases which you are either strugglling with or would like to discuss with the group.
The number of participants is strictly limited to six, with each dentist having their own state of the art equipment to use for the entire day. The course is very much hands-on structured, there will be the opportunity to use loupes and each dentist has access to an operating microscope should they wish.
We will cover the use of multiple systems to shape all manner of canals, and look at the use of ultrasonics and irrigants in facilitating this process. There will also be the opportunity to use the latest obturation materials and equipment, allowing each dentist to assess what may work best for them in practice.
Each dentist will have the opportunity to join The Dentistry Cloud portal on the day. This will enable us to support each delegate after the course, and assist with case selection and treatment planning their own cases in practice.
The course aims to:
improve your capability to plan endodontic cases
improve your skills in various preparation techniques
give different solutions to tackling various endodontic cases
allow better understanding of why cases fail and various strategies for re-treating them
By the end of the course you should be able to:
assess endodontic cases and be able to understand the complexities involved
develop a preparation strategy for more challenging root canal treatment
improve your own abilities for the management of failed endodontic cases
Who this course is for:
The course is suitable for the busy GDP who is looking to increase their endodontic skills and treatment options. The environment will be realxed and friendly allowing each delegate to gain maximum benefit from all the resources available on the day.
