Over the past few years, teachers and schools have faced an increasing range of challenges with pupils, difficulties that can act as significant barriers to learning. From social and emotional needs, through attendance, to the frictions experienced by SEND pupils as they navigate a neurotypical world, these needs are complex, often interacting, and presenting an unprecedented intensity of obstacles to teachers and pupils alike.
The CALC 2025 Teachmeet will provide a platform for attendees to reflect on and share their experiences with these issues, and to collaborate on discovering principles that can inform effective practice. The focus will be on how we can support the people in our school systems by creating environments to enhance equitable learning for all.
The event will finish with an optional networking dinner, giving you a chance to connect and further the conversations inspired by the sessions.
