This intermediate training programme is dedicated to equipping participants with increased confidence and skills in moving beyond risk assessment and maintaining the therapeutic relationship when responding to suicidality and self-harming behaviour in therapy.
Working with suicide and self-harm can cause a wide variety of emotions in practitioners and this session allows a safe space for practitioners to reflect on their own thoughts and feelings around the topic, and increase confidence in supporting others.
Designed to address the unique challenges and complexities of working with people experiencing suicidality, this training covers a range of topics, including relationally responding to suicide and self-harm, exploring the link between suicide and self-harm and balancing risk assessment with therapeutic need.
Through interactive discussions and case studies, participants will gain practical insights to navigate sensitive conversations, establish effective boundaries, and provide compassionate support to clients in crisis.
Join me for an informative, supportive and interactive session that will provide valuable space to explore an impactful and sensitive topic. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and make a positive impact!*
