Have you ever uttered the words "I'm no good at networking"⁠?

Is that really true?⁠ ⁠Or are you an introvert attempting to network in an extrovert setting?⁠

⁠We know that being introverted DOES NOT mean...⁠

• ⁠you're lacking confidence⁠
• you're shy ⁠
• you're unable to hold a conversation⁠
• you're lacking in energy⁠
• you can't crack a joke or a smile⁠

⁠Being introverted DOES very often equal being a good listener, though. ⁠

⁠Can you imagine attending a networking group where you will be heard rather than have folks want to jump in, speak over you and only speak at you so that they can gather your contact details?⁠

⁠Sounds like bliss!⁠

⁠And that's what we have created with Enrichment Networking.⁠

This is networking for the introverted in small business as a way of encouraging you to come out of isolation, knowing that you are NOT going to be called on to give lengthy and excruciating introductions, instead to experience a more gentle way of connecting and building relationships.

You’ll find Enrichment Networking to be, as one of our guests put it… “casual and relaxed, while still being business-focused.”

What to expect

This is not business networking as you know it, and this is NOT the right group for you if:

• You’re expecting to have to “work the room” and chat to everyone there
• You’re expecting a large group of people
• You’re expecting to sell, sell, sell yourself and your products or services
• You’re expecting to have business cards foisted upon you when you don’t even know the person handing it to you

This IS the right group for you if:

• You’re looking for a relaxed way to network and share your business
• You’re looking for a supportive and positive group
• You’re looking to meet other business women experiencing similar issues to you
• You’re looking for small groups where you can get to know others and build connections (we only ever have 10 tickets on sale for any meeting)

As another of our guests put it… “It is the most welcoming, chilled out networking you will ever attend!”

Here's a general overview of how the meeting will run:

• Arrival and refreshments
• Welcome and introduction to Enrichment Networking
• Everybody gets time to share their business - this is not timed, and you can say as little or as much as you want to - some guests might say a couple of sentences, and others might talk for five minutes
• As we go around the table, learning about each person’s business, there is opportunity to ask questions as we go
• After introductions there is time for general conversation - the topic for this usually presents itself during introductions (and the conversation itself often takes place throughout the introductions as well), or we will bring a business-related topic for discussion with the group

As your hosts, it’s important to us that these meetings are what you need them to be at the time - part social get-together, part business networking, part support group, and part mastermind.

So if you’re experiencing a problem or issue in your business and would like some input from others, bring it to the meeting and hopefully you will leave feeling uplifted and inspired to move forward.

Meet your hosts

We are Denise Oliver and Sami Blackford, co-creators of Enrichment Networking… and we’re both introverts.

As small business owners, we recognise that networking is essential for spreading the words about what we do, and for gaining support from others when we need it… and yet we’ve rarely found that networking works for us or supports our gentler way of interacting with others… we knew we couldn’t be alone in feeling this way, so we created our own group that would do just that.

We believe that every woman deserves to have a calm mind and body, and an abundant and joyful business or career.

We invite you to go beyond the self that you think you *should* show up as and step into the space of you as you truly be... What is it YOU wish to be in the world? What is it YOU wish to do in the world? What is it that YOU wish to have in the world?

Where to find us

We will gather in the tranquil setting that is Of The Forest Barn, in the village of Pontblyddyn on the outskirts of Mold.

Here, you can enjoy free on-site parking. Please enter the carpark via the entrace next to the cricket club and over the little bridge - NOT through the large wooden gate.

Self-serve tea & coffee are available from the mini kitchen. You're also welcome to bring a flask with you, or stop off at your favourite cafe on the way.
