Event description

Description

This summer join Capall Dorcha Ensemble with our Physical Theatre workshop in Ardrossan.

Explore the world of physical and visual performance beyond traditional theatre! Meet new friends, and together learn new skills as dance and drama merge into the dynamic and exciting form of Physical Theatre.

The workshops will provide an introduction to physical theatre exploring mask work, physical storytelling, devised and ensemble work. Delivered by professional actors and theatre-makers, the sessions will inspire imaginative, confident and positive young people, enabling them to create their own performance work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Open to all young people in P5-S6 living in North Ayrshire and Arran this workshop will take place for one week, and all participants will be required to participate every day. Each workshop lasts 5hrs a day from 11am-4pm

This opportunity is available for FREE thanks to the support of North Ayrshire Council, The Margie Moffet Legacy Fund and CalMac Ferries Ltd.
