Enter the Circle ~ Dance Journey
Event Information
Description
Come 'Enter The Circle' in a ceremonial dance journey, a meeting of cultures through song, dance and spirit, an opportunity to allow the power of music and dance to remind us we are all equal in this great mystery of life.
Tasty treats available
Ombiviolum are an 8-piece band who bring together traditional Mbira music from Zimbabwe with European folk and classical styles in a exquisite meeting of soulful melodies and irresistible grooves.
African percussion and uber-funky double bass create a sophisticated groove through which European flavours of strings, woodwind and guitar are intricately woven, with soulful 4-part harmony singing and virtuoso dance.
An inner and outer journey into tender places of the human heart, this new offering seeks the healing of ancestral wounds through movement, sound, ceremony and celebration.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this unique and rare occasion in such a beautiful church at the heart of Stroud - home to the Stroud Sacred Music Festival.
