Together with our selected ten finalists and judges, the evening will be a celebration of the hard work and accomplishments of the young entrepreneurs of our university. We have a number of exceptional prizes for this years winners.
2016 winners Milou Grijpink and Dorien Groeneweg, from the Hogeschool, Rotterdam, created a centre in central Rotterdam where students, entrepreneurs and start-ups can meet, create, work and network.
2015 winners ‘Locality’ - five second year computer science students, designed an app which sends personalized travel and disruption information to an individual's phone,the app was successfully launched in January.
2014 winner Albert Martin invented a radical new type of shoe which has all the benefits of walking barefoot. 2013 winner Musa Kabiri, retro fit smart curtain poles secured first round funding, overcame technical obstacles and improved the design of his product, he is now poised for crowd funding.
The 2012 winner, Harry Furneaux, has also done tremendously well and partnered with Merlin Entertainment who own Madame Tussauds and many other major attractions.
The Enterprise Challenge is as much about the journey as it is the destination and all participants improve their employability prospects by being involved.
