Enterprise Education Programme - Discovery Series

Designed around Lean Startup methodology, this series of six 'hands-on' workshops will introduce University of Sussex researchers to tools and techniques to help them figure out if a commercial route is for them - and if so, where to search for market opportunities and applications, evaluate different options and set a focus to explore and test potential commercialisation models to understand their future value and impact.

Workshops will be held every two weeks to allow for additional 'out of the building' activity by participants. We strongly advise you to attend all the workshops as they build upon each other to help you progress the development and understanding of your future opportunities.

Accessibility

Location:

Sussex Innovation is based on the University of Sussex Falmer campus. It can be accessed by the 23, 25 and 28 buses, trains to Falmer station, and the Innovation Centre car park is free to guests of the centre – press the buzzer on the carpark barrier and let reception know which event you are attending.

General accessibility:

The main doors to the building are automatic and have step-free access. Gender neutral toilets are available by reception. If you have any additional accessibility requirements, please get in touch with our facilities team at reception@sussexinnovation.co.uk.

Event specific accessibility:

This event is on the first floor, and there is step-free access available via a lift.

Please bring reusable water bottles and coffee cups where possible. Coffee, tea and mini cakes will be provided. We are able to cater to a variety of dietary requirements.

This event will include a power point presentation, and paper hand-outs to fill out during the session. There will be a break halfway through.
