Enterprise Europe Network and the Innovate UK National Contact Point for N&M are pleased to invite you to a workshop and a briefing session on the latest N&M results to help complete your awareness and understanding of H2020 calls and proposals.
The focus of this workshop will be on 'WRITING for N&M in H2020'. The aim is to help you start your journey on how to frame your innovation idea(s) into competitive proposals.
Who should attend? This training workshop will focus on previous and future applicants in the UK. We will be inviting active H2020 participants from industry, academia and RTOs to ensure that expertise from every TRL level is represented in this workshop.
9:30-10:00 - Tea/Coffee and Registration
10:00-10:10 - Introduction by EEN (Metodi Naydenov)
The speakers will talk about the role of EEN; and their expertise and networks (in the UK and EU) to support UK H2020 applicants in Nanotechnology & Materials.
10:10-10:30 - Setting the Scene (Dr Kalyan Sarma)
The speaker will provide a general feel for "what was funded in 2014-2015 in N&M and what the results indicate and the recent trends."
10:30-11:30 - Session One by the Expert Evaluator (Ms Heidi Dyson)
The evaluator will cover the following topic in this session:
ESR feedback and learning points from recent N&M calls.
11:30-13:00 - Session Two (Ms Heidi Dyson)
The evaluator will cover the following topic in this and the subsequent sessions:
Linking Excellence, Impact and Quality of Implementation workshop. This is an in-depth look at the three sections and how to link these in a proposal.
