LBA and Angels in the City (AiTC) would like to invite you to attend our first entrepreneur workshop which has the objective to give you the right tips from industry experts to grow your business beyond the UK and make it in the US.

The event will be held at our new offices: Newable, 140 Aldersgate Street, 6th Floor, London EC1A 4HY and will commence at 6pm to 7.30pm (with registration from 5.45pm). The closest tube stations are Barbican and St Pauls.

Event Title – “How to make it in America?”

The event will cover the following topics:

1) What are the key challenges for UK companies entering the US market?

2) Should UK companies adopt a direct sales approach to the US market and what on the ground infrastructure is required to support this?

3) Do UK companies need to have US traction in order to raise US based capital? What else do US VC funds look for?

4) How easy is recruitment in the USA?
