The pannel will share their insights based on their journeys so far as entrepreneurs and business founders. There will be a chaired panel session followed by some Q&A, networking and drinks.

Dave Page

As an alumnus of the University of Bath, Dave has enjoyed a career as entrepreneur, founder, CEO and Chair. His knowledge and experience has seen him successfully combine deep technical insights and market awareness to turn technology into start-up B2B business in the internet and digital technology arena.

Zoe Jeffery

Zoe is currently completing her PhD at the University of Bath, is a Research Associate at the University of Bristol and has a background in fashion design with expertise in clothing manufacturing. Zoe has been studying teenage girls disengagement in school physical education and using her research and background in design, Zoe is in the process of launching a new clothing brand which seeks to empower teenage girls through comfort, individuality, and innovation.

Max Slinger

Max was born in Bath and started adult life as a downhill ski racer, training at the University of Bath’s Sports Training Village. His day job now is as a Venture Capital Investor but he first trained with Deloitte in Mergers & Acquisitions (buying and selling businesses) and then progressed to investing profits into new businesses for a FTSE250 listed company. During this latter role Max used his earlier experience of an unfortunate sports injury to provide insight into co-founding a start-up private healthcare business which he is in the process of growing.
