The Academy will take place from the 6th to 14th March in Hastings, East Sussex with two final showcase performances by Ensemble OrQuesta Opera Academy Participants at Christ Church, St Leonards-on-Sea on the 13th and 14th March at 7:00pm.

Each Opera Academy participant performs at least one performance of a role in a fully staged production of the opera, in original language, with the accompaniment of the Ensemble OrQuesta professional Baroque ensemble and harpsichord.

The Academy course is led by Ensemble OrQuesta Artistic Director Marcio da Silva and harpsichordist Kieran Staub. The chorus will be sung by the HPO Singers (Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra Singers).
