The Practice Based Learning Unit (PBLU) at Middlesex University is working with the Pan London Practice Learning Group (PLPLG) on the development and introduction of an ePAD.

Middlesex will be using the ePAD with the 2020 nursing intake (years 2 and 3 will continue with paper). The ePAD has been developed by MyKnowledgeMap (MKM) and will be an app that the students use on their own device. The introduction of the ePAD is being supported by MKM who will be introducing the students to the app during the placement preparation session. MKM will also work with PBLU and other HEIs to introduce the ePAD to practice supervisors and practice assessors.

These sessions are for Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessor involved with supervision or asssement of student nurses and require an understanding on how the ePAD works.
