Course aims and objectives

To enable delegates to apply a consistent approach to their roles within a Safety Advisory Group.

On completion of this course attendees will have gained an understanding and knowledge of the following:

1. Determine appropriate terms of reference for Safety Advisory Groups.

2. Explain the roles of members of the Safety Advisory Group.

3. Apply the legislation and guidance on licensing and safety certification.

4. Apply the relevant guidance to determine safe capacities for a range of venues and events.

Target audience

All partners who are members of or involved in Safety Advisory Groups.
