Welcome to EPiC HOPE’s Volunteer Open Day!
At EPiC HOPE, we believe that every role, big or small, helps save lives. Come and join us at 8–10 Crompton Street to discover how you can be part of our suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention work in the Wigan and Leigh boroughs.
There are so many ways to get involved:
- Be a listener in our Crisis Harbours, offering a safe space for people in crisis.
- Join our outreach team, taking the EPiC HOPE van (Circuits) into the community to meet people where they are.
- Support our pop-up stalls at events, raising awareness and sharing vital information.
- Lend a hand behind the scenes with admin and organisation.
- Offer a warm welcome, making brews and greeting people as they arrive.
No special experience is required, just compassion, enthusiasm, and the willingness to bring hope. Come and meet the team, learn more about our projects, and see how you can play your part in preventing suicide and supporting those affected.
