Epigenetics: DNA Does Not Account for everything
Tue 21 March 2017, 18:00 – 20:00 GMT
The same script can result in many different productions of a play. Increasingly, we are coming to understand DNA in the same way.
Join a panel of epigenetics researchers to find out what we are learning about the world beyond DNA and what remains to be discovered.
An interactive panel discussion will be followed by wine, nibbles and a chance to chat with researchers informally.
This event is co-hosted by four leading bio-medical research institutes: Wellcome Trust – Medical Research Council Cambridge Stem Cell Institute; Wellcome Genome Campus; Wellcome Trust / Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute; and The Babraham Institute.
We have a number of school group spaces available for students (16+), If you would like to book your students in, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
A similar event on the topic of organoids will be held on Wednesday the 15th of March at 18:00, please see the Cambridge Science Festival programme for details or www.tiny.cc/organoids.
