• Classify seizures and list potential triggers

• Importance of having a person-centred approach to ensure the wellbeing of an individual

• How to support an individual during and after a seizure and how to respond to potential emergency situations.

• Administer the emergency medications Rectal Diazepam and Buccal Midazolam

Who is this course for?

Adult Social Care and Health staff who are required to administer emergency medication to individuals with epilepsy.
