This session explores the therapeutic use of neuromodulators such has botulinum toxin type A, focusing on conditions such as blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and strabismus. As well as causes and management of patients with epiphora and eyelid abnormalities. Designed for optometrists, we provide clinical insights into neuromodulator mechanisms, referral pathways, and multidisciplinary care. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how these treatments impact ocular function and patient outcomes, enhancing their ability to identify candidates for referral and support post-treatment care.
