Event description

About this Event

Course location: Minerva Mill Innovation Centre, Station Road, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 5ET

This training course will provide ecological consultants with the knowledge required to complete a successful EPSML application to Natural England for developments that do not meet the criteria for a Bat Mitigation Class Licence (i.e. low impact licences). Although the course will focus on the how to write a successful EPS mitigation licence application to Natural England, delegates will obtain transferable skills for the submission of similar applications to Natural Resources Wales and Scottish Natural Heritage.

Who should attend?

No previous EPSML experience is necessary! The course is open to any Ecological Consultants who have an interest in preparing EPSML applications. Ecologists need to have held a Level 2 Bat Class Survey Licence for a minimum of 2 years to become an EPSML Named Ecologist in accordance with Natural England requirements.

However, this does not prevent you from assisting more experienced colleagues with preparing EPSML applications until you can become a Named Ecologist yourself!
