Welcome and Introduction – Amy Warner May (EPUG-UKI Chair)

A welcome and introduction to the sessions of the next two conference days. Amy will also give a brief update meetings which were held in advance of the Igelu main conference.

First time view from IGeLU –Amin Hussain, University of Manchesterand ELUNA update – John Krug, University of Lancaster

Amin Hussain will be attending his first Igelu in Norway this year and will give us his thoughts and impressions in this brief overview, followed by an ELUNA update from John Krug.

11.30– 12.15

Alma Resource Sharing Update -Chris Jones and Amin Hussain

An update on recent developments within Alma resource sharing. In particular, a look at Lending Requests (ISO testing) and the BL’s DSS API testing.

Ex Libris Alma update

Alan Oliver will update the group with regard to Alma, and look at the roadmap and also report on the Alma UX project.

Rosetta update

Alma One Year On

Chris Jones and Laura Peaurt from University of Sheffield will give an update on work they are undertaking with Rosetta.

Paula Fitzpatrick and Stephen Harding will speak about experiences at Newcastle University during the first year since implementation of Alma.

Reading Lists Made Easy – Implementing Leganto at Imperial College, London – Andrew Preater

Andrew Preater will lead us through the Leganto implementation project at Imperial College.

Drinks Reception at Ex Libris Offices

Ex Libris are hosting a drinks reception at their new offices in Blackfriars. A group of us plan to walk from the British Library to Blackfriars after the meeting, alternatively it is possible to take the 63 Bus (direction Honor Oak) from Kings Cross stop D to Apothecary Street. From there it is a 3 minute walk to the Ex Libris Offices.

Matt will give the group a version of his IGeLU presentation looking at what UX is, and how it can help us in every aspect of our library lives (and beyond)

Working with the new Primo UI

Summon Users Meeting

Half hour presentations from Salford, Sussex and Cambridge University on their respective work with the new Primo UI, plus some time for questions

An opportunity for Summon users to get together to discuss current issues and engagement with the EPUG-UKI group. Chaired by Amy-Warner-May.


Closing Plenary: Measuring the Impact of Digitised Dissertations: A case study from London School of Economics – Linda Bennett

Linda Bennett from Goldleaf (www.goldleaf.co.uk) will report on a year long study at the LSE investigating how digital theses fit into the scholarly resources landscape.
