Description

On Monday 20th July 2020 MWNUK and The Parliament Project will lead a workshop where you can learn more about exploring your political pathway and how to kick-start your political career as a BAME woman. You don't need political experience, a party, or an in-depth knowledge of the political system - all you need is the passion to make a difference and the curiosity to find out more.

We welcome BAME women from across the political spectrum (and none) and from any and all backgrounds: we're here to help you get started and connect you with other women who are on the same journey. We'll discuss everything from the process of standing to surmounting barriers that might be in your way.

Access: We are committed to ensuring that this workshop accommodates the needs of all BAME women. When registering for the event you will be asked if you have access requirements such as a BSL interpreter or a notetaker. We will do everything we can to ensure these needs are met.
