Event description
This report offers an unprecedented insight into EDI in the technical community in UK higher education.

About this Event

You are invited to join us for the launch of a report by the EPSRC funded STEMM-CHANGE project at the University of Nottingham in collaboration with the Science Council, University of Liverpool and the John Innes Centre in conjunction with the Technician Commitment.

It is vital to appreciate that EDI challenges do not just apply to academic or research staff groups. Indeed, it is arguable that the issues are more serious in the technician community where EDI is often not as advanced. STEMM-CHANGE has been working with Technician Commitment signatories the University of Liverpool and the John Innes Centre, and project partners the Science Council to highlight and address EDI challenges facing technicians alongside academic and research staff.

To mark the release of the report, the collaborating organisations will be holding this launch. Please join us.

This is a standalone event which forms part of the STEMM-CHANGE Annual Conference. If you’d like to attend the full day please see https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/stemm-change-annual-conference-tickets-62298681032 for further details.
