Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Overview
Course overview
Equality & Diversity training can create a more inclusive workforce – and reduce the risk of costly and time-consuming complaints, disciplinary action and Employment Tribunal claims – through encouraging greater awareness and understanding of the different protected characteristics and types of discrimination and harassment.
Who should attend
This course will be useful to anyone involved in managing people including
those with HR responsibilities. This course can also be adapted for staff
training.
Benefits of attending
Delegates will increase their knowledge of EDI and gain an understanding of
what these concepts look like in practice. They won’t just learn the theory; they
will leave the session with an understanding of the practical steps that they can
take to promote EDI and to demonstrate best practice. This should, in turn, help
to drive forward a more inclusive workplace culture and the enormous benefits
that that can bring.
Delegates will also understand the potentially significant legal risks in this area,
therefore, mitigating the organisation’s exposure to liability.
