The session will cover:

• The Business Case: how a diverse and inclusive workplace supports your organisation’s goals

• A brief overview of the Equality Act 2010 and practical workplace scenarios where discrimination and harassment can arise

• The role of bias and how this shows up in our behaviours, shapes key decisions and actions in the workplace

• Practical strategies for addressing the real impact our conscious and unconscious bias has across the employee journey

• Top tips to become a more inclusive manager and build a culture of respect, inclusion and belonging

• Action planning

A mixture of live polls, chat, videos and small group and individual exercises will be used to engage participants and apply key concepts and examples to the workplace.

A managers checklist will be included as a post session guide to help transfer the learning to your role.
