Driving Opportunities for Women-Owned Businesses in the Netherlands
A virtual event on Monday 15th June 2020 from 3pm to 5pm

Accenture and WEConnect International would like to invite you to participate in a virtual event for women-owned businesses in the Netherlands. The event is aimed at majority women-owned businesses - those that are minimum 51% owned by one or more women – and would be of most interest to businesses operating in the corporate and B2B sectors. The event is also open to women-owned businesses from other countries who can provide their products and services in the Netherlands.

The COVID-19 pandemic will continue to challenge us all in the coming weeks and months and as business shifts from battling coronavirus to recovery, women-owned businesses will be a critical engine for economic growth and job creation. Leveraging technology and embracing supplier diversity and inclusion will help ensure businesses owned by women and other diverse suppliers recover faster and stronger and help us all to rebuild a more resilient global economy.

Accenture wants to create a more inclusive digital world. They work with several membership organisations, including WEConnect International, to unlock opportunities for diverse businesses around the world and this afternoon session is focused on opportunities for women-owned businesses in the Netherlands in in a COVID-19 ‘world’.

During this virtual event, Accenture and Dow will share more detail about their inclusive sourcing programmes, share best practices and success stories. WEConnect International certified women’s business enterprises will have the chance to present a short pitch of their business to the group. There will also be a choice of breakout sessions – focussed on business opportunities and supplier diversity -led by Accenture, Dow, Randstad and WEConnect International will share more details about the support offered via certification. There will be a general Q&A and group discussion offering lots of opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about potential opportunities for your firm as we look towards economic recovery.

The event is free to attend and please feel free to share this information with any other women-owned businesses in the Netherlands who you think may be interested in participating.
