This exciting new format is here to help you get fit to ride!
Equipilates™ in partnership with Hoof (British Equestrian Federation) are offering a 6 week course of one hour classes especially designed to improve your symmetry, alignment, balance and core stability, preparing your body for a riding lesson on week 6. Equipilates™ is the UK's leading equestrian specific Pilates method and we are passionate about helping riders improve their performance. This brilliant new course is perfectly designed to help non-riders (or those who have been out of the saddle for ages!) get into the groove. This is quite unlike any Pilates class you may have done before; you'll start to work on all the things that riders need to be really good at before you even get on the horse on the final session-alignment awareness, breathing, core muscle use, all on the wooden saddle horse, plus a range of riding specific exercises. Each week is carefully structured and builds week by week; you'll also be given a few exercises each week to practise at home in between, and to help you do this and get the most benefit from the course you'll receive a welcome pack on week one with worksheets and a very cool piece of equipment! You'll also receive your exercises by email each week with video 'how to' guides to support you. The final session will consist of a short Equipilates™ workout and a semi private lesson at Radway Riding School.
Classes are on a Wednesday 11.15am-12.15am and run for six weeks from 26.10.16 to 30.11.16.
