Equipped - Tools and skills for chairing your county

Join NFYFC for a fun-packed weekend of learning for all County Chairs and Vice Chairs to give you the leadership skills needed for your new role.

Arrival from 16.00 on Friday to help those with long distance travel. Friday night meal available followed by an evening of socialising.

Training commences on the Saturday at 09.15, with welcome and introductions.The weekend will include-

Skills sessions: Equipping yourself for leadership, discovering your leadership style, recognising the challenges of your role and how to overcome them with peer, county and NFYFC support.

We will be working together to look at how your county works, how it could be improved and investing the future.

Plus ‘Tools Workshops’ on the topics of Supporting, Working with and Managing County Staff, Drug Awareness, Inclusivity and Equality in YFC and Agriculture and Rural Affairs as your YFC USP.

Outdoor teambuilding activities will also be included - bring warm clothes!

The weekend will finish with lunch, departure around 14.30
