Irrespective of age, background, ethnicity and experience, we are all part of the bigger picture—the multi-generational, multi-cultural Church of Jesus Christ.
Using new episodes of Dr Wayne Grudem’s Christian Beliefs DVD resource as our starting point, we’ll explore key topics essential for meaningful Christian living. This course will suit both previous Equipped students and newcomers alike.
This is the second Equipped to be organised and hosted in Exeter by a collaboration of evangelical churches, having originally grown out of Moorlands College’s desire to support local churches beyond its Bachelors and Masters programmes. Equipped is now run in various locations across the UK.
Equipped will take place over ten Thursday evenings, 7:30–9:30pm, from 5 January to 16 March 2017 (no session during half term). Book all ten sessions in advance for just £50 (£40 for students).
A screening of the Christian Beliefs discipleship DVD, presented by acclaimed theologian Dr Wayne Grudem, will be followed by open discussion to help you explore a different topic every week. Key themes include discovering our individual and collective calling; living as the kingdom people of God; a theology of angels and demons in a scientific, rationalist world; children’s nurture and discipleship; building resilience in ourselves and those we lead; and relational evangelism.
“The course is brilliant! You meet other Christians of all ages and backgrounds. The teaching is practical and high quality—I learned such a lot in a short time—and had fun too!”
