Join Smart Works on Thursday 18th September, 14:00–15:00 for an empowering and informative session about how we support 50+ women in their next career move.

Charlotte Peagam, Head of Programmes at Smart Works, will introduce the charity’s transformative offer: free, personalised interview coaching and high-quality professional clothing to help you feel confident and prepared. You’ll also hear from a Smart Works Client Champion, who will share their personal journey and how the service helped them successfully re-enter the workforce. Smart Works has a proven track record - 67% of clients secure a job within a month of using the service.

Little more about Josie our Client Champion;

After turning 60, Josie re-entered the workforce, overcoming ageism and confidence barriers with support from Smart Works. She transformed her life experiences as a mother, carer, and grandmother into valuable skills, even returning to college and mentoring others. Her journey spans care work, volunteering, and now a role as an events manager and charity trustee. She’ll share practical advice for older women navigating returning to work, confidence, and career transitions and how organisations like Smart Works can make a transformative difference.
