By day we will be walking the woods and taking in the natural beauty of the Forest of Dean and by night it's campfires, star-gazing and general merriment!
The Forest of Dean is truly majestic - there are few campsites in the country managed by the Forestry Commission where you can actually stay IN the forest!
A stone's throw from the calm, peaceful woodlands, full of wildlife and stunning walks, the campsite enjoys all mod cons and is within walking distance of a pub and cafe.
This is a walking weekend so there's no additional extras to buy, so just get a camping pass and pack all your walking essentials - plus some marshmallows for toasting on the campfire for when the late Summer sun starts to die and the stars start to shine! The Forest of Dean is a Dark Skies hot spot so the star-gazing should be pretty good.
NOTE- well behaved dogs are welcome, if kept on a lead at all times.

Relaxed, friendly and welcoming, the aim of Camper Gurlz is to create fun weekends in beautiful places around Wales and the Welsh borders. From the coast to the woods, from the rivers to the hills – Camper Gurlz will be bringing you a series of weekends away for girls who love to camp!
What do we do
Each year we will be bringing you a variety of “mini-escapes” from beautiful outdoor spaces across Wales. If you want to camp under the stars (in a tent or a van!) with a group of chilled out, fun loving, Great Outdoors loving women, then you are in the right place!
